Wayne Grove, longtime member of the Bass section, passed away on April 11.
Wayne joined Orpheus in 1984 and was one of our most loyal and devoted members. Those of us who went on tour with Orpheus in 2019 to Pennsylvania and Washington, DC will remember Wayne and his wife Audrey bravely trudging along to every event despite their advanced years.
Wayne’s daughter told us that Orpheus was the highlight of his life. He was a true brother and will truly be missed. Our prayers are with his family and his soul.
