Michael Clark passed away on September 23 after a long illness.
Michael joined Orpheus in 2011 as a First Tenor. A talented musician, he took a keen interest in choral music in general and Orpheus in particular, and was a regular participant in our monthly Solo Salon afternoons that we held in the past. He continued to sing with us even after his health began to fail, but at length he had to withdraw when he simply couldn’t handle rehearsals and performances any longer.
But even as an Emeritus member, Michael could always be seen in the front row of our shows, cheering us on.
We will miss Michael’s positive attitude despite his failing health, and we will long remember his many contributions to Orpheus.
